Tori, a 28-year-old solo traveler, came to me excited but not quite sure how to plan her winter adventure in Canada. She knew she wanted to explore the Rockies, try snow sports, and hopefully witness the Northern Lights, but she wasn’t sure where or how to make that happen. She also wanted a balance of meeting like-minded people during her trip but hoped to end with a quiet, solo stay somewhere special. Together, we created an immersive itinerary that showcased the best of Canada’s winter landscapes, mixing group experiences with a peaceful, magical solo finale. .
1 Night in Vancouver:
A luxury stay to kick off the adventure with time to explore this stunning city, including a guided tour of Stanley Park and the iconic Totem Poles.
9-Day Powder Rush Winter Contiki:
Day 1: Start Vancouver: A city tour including Stanley Park and Capilano Suspension Bridge, followed by free time to explore and dinner with the group.
Day 2: Vancouver to Whistler: A scenic drive via the Sea to Sky Highway, arriving at Whistler for snowmobile fun and après-ski adventures.
Days 3-4: Whistler: Time on the slopes or exploring Whistler’s cozy village, with options like a multimedia forest walk and ziplining.
Day 5: Whistler to Banff: A quick flight to Calgary, followed by a picturesque drive to Banff with stunning mountain views.
Days 6-8: Banff: Days filled with skiing, snowboarding, and exploring Banff’s natural wonders, plus optional dog sledding and helicopter rides over the Rockies.
Day 9: Banff to Calgary: A final gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain and a visit to Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, concluding this epic journey.
